Dear Friends,
Today is awesome and symbolic in every respect.
Today, we commemorate God’s personal visitation to earth — to dwell permanently with us throughout our sojourn as pilgrims.
Today, we are reminded of Emmanuel — God with us.
Today, I call you to remember and celebrate the life and freedom we have been given.
Today is Christmas.
But as a pungent reminder: No Christ. No Christmas.
So, from me to you, I say:
Be merry, and may this season bring you renewed peace, joy and hope.
Peace in a troubled world.
Joy in a depressed world.
Hope in a dispair-filled world.
He said to us while He walked this green earth:
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid — John 14:27
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
